Jim Gage will demonstrate various methods of sharpening your often-used garden tools–shovels, loppers and pruners. Bring your dullest or most used tools to this hands-on class. Metal files are the most useful sharpening tool. Please bring any you have to class.
Meet at the Tilth Farm Stand.
$5 for members and $15 for non-members (cash, check or card payable on the day of the class). R.S.V.P to education@southwhidbeytilth.org.
Jim lived off the grid in Alaska for a couple decades, where he learned to take care of the few basic tools needed to live. Sharpening those tools was a necessary part, which he quickly learned.
