Gary Ingram will teach an on-site class on pruning trees for high fruit production. There will be a lecture followed by hands-on learning. The class will meet at the farm stand near the entrance to the Tilth campus. Bring pruners and wear weather-appropriate clothing.
Gary spent 15 years working in the Seattle area as an arborist and managed and trained other arborists and plant care workers. He currently has 10 or so clients on Whidbey Island. In addition to 35 years of experience working with trees and shrubs, Gary earned an ISA Certified Arborist credential in 2002, and has been teaching pruning classes for South Whidbey Tilth since 2005.
